Our Story

About Us.

As Midwinters planted its first 1,200 vines in the spring of 2026, we are just beginning the opening chapter of the vineyard's story. Set within a quiet hamlet near the village of Chorley, Bridgnorth, the vineyard is framed by ancient woodland on one side and rolling hills with babbling brooks on the other, creating a tranquil and well‑suited environment.

We follow a regenerative approach to vineyard management. Every vine has been planted by hand, reflecting our commitment to careful, sustainable cultivation. For our first year, we have selected exclusively PIWI varieties: Seyval Blanc, Solaris, Divico, Regent and Cabernet Cortis. The success of these initial plantings will guide the next stage of development and shape the future direction of Midwinters for establishing young vines.
